Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced ODI Developer with 6–9 years of hands-on expertise in Oracle Data Integrator and ETL processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing data integration workflows that support enterprise data warehouse and analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain ODI mappings, packages, procedures, and load plans.
• Work closely with business analysts, data architects, and DBAs to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable data integration solutions.
• Develop ETL/ELT processes using ODI to extract data from various source systems (Oracle, flat files, APIs, etc.).
• Optimize performance of data load and transformation processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data integration and transformation issues.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across systems.
• Participate in code reviews, version control, and deployment processes.
• Provide production support and resolve incidents in data pipelines.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6–9 years of experience in ETL development, with at least 4+ years in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI 11g/12c).
• Strong knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, and data modeling concepts.
• Experience integrating with Oracle databases, and other data sources like flat files, REST APIs, or ERP systems.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, star/snowflake schemas, and dimensional modeling.
• Familiarity with performance tuning of ETL jobs and SQL queries.
• Hands-on experience with error handling, logging, auditing, and exception management in ODI.
• Experience in using ODI Variables, Knowledge Modules (KM), and Load Plans.
• Knowledge of Oracle BI, OBIEE, or other BI tools is a plus.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., OCI, Azure, AWS) is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• ODI certification is a plus.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, Git, Jenkins, or deployment pipelines is desirable.
