Welcoming John Hinshaw as Strategic Advisor to Digile: Accelerating Our Next Chapter of AI-Led Growth

We’re proud to announce that John M. Hinshaw, one of the most respected names in global technology and operations leadership, has joined Digile as a Strategic Advisor.

We’re proud to announce that John M. Hinshaw, one of the most respected names in global technology and operations leadership, has joined Digile as a Strategic Advisor.

With over 30 years of experience across some of the world’s most complex organizations – including HSBC (Group COO), HP (EVP of Technology and Operations), Boeing (CIO), and Verizon Wireless (CIO) – John brings a rare combination of deep enterprise insight, operational scale, and future-ready thinking.

Why John Joined Digile

When John first connected with Digile’s leadership team, what stood out to him was the alignment in vision: a shared commitment to using digital platforms and AI to solve real-world enterprise challenges – efficiently and at scale.

“Digile is that rare combination of deep technical expertise and agility,” said John. “Their name literally captures it—digital + agile. I was impressed by their platform capabilities across ServiceNow, Salesforce, and Oracle, but more importantly, by how they work with clients – with trust, speed, and purpose.”

John’s global perspective is also shaped by his time working extensively across Asia, including a significant tenure at HSBC. With Digile headquartered in Singapore and a strong delivery presence in India, this was a natural fit.

How John Will Contribute to Digile’s Growth

  1. Strategic Growth: Guiding Digile through its next phase of global expansion and helping us scale our platform partnerships and delivery footprint.
  2. AI Transformation: Bringing real-world AI capabilities to clients by turning buzzwords into business outcomes – especially in areas like agentic systems, lead-to-cash automation, and AI-enabled workflows.
  3. New Capabilities: Advising Digile on where to innovate next – whether that’s quantum computing, advanced data orchestration, or AI governance frameworks.

John emphasized that his measure of success will be twofold: seeing Digile grow significantly and knowing that our growth translates to measurable value for clients.

“Growth is exciting. But what matters more is hearing from clients that Digile made a real difference. That’s when it all clicks.”

A Perfect Match of Vision and Values

Throughout his career, John has championed the idea of true partnerships over transactional relationships. That’s exactly what we strive for at Digile—with our clients, our teams, and now with John.

“When I think about the partners who stood out in my corporate journey, it was always the nimble, high-trust, high-delivery firms. Digile has that DNA.”

We sat down with John to talk about why he joined Digile, where he sees the biggest opportunities, and how he hopes to contribute. Read the full interview here:

Q: What drew you to Digile?

John Hinshaw: I first met the Digile team at the ServiceNow Knowledge conference in Las Vegas, and I was immediately impressed. Their technical depth across ServiceNow, Salesforce, and Oracle was clear, but more than that, I saw an entrepreneurial team with real agility and drive.

I’ve spent a large part of my career in Asia, particularly during my time at HSBC, and I’ve always admired the energy and innovation coming out of this region. With Digile headquartered in Singapore, a strong delivery center in India, and clients across the U.S., Europe, and Asia, it felt like a great fit.

Q: You’ve worked with large enterprises for most of your career. What excites you about working with a company at Digile’s stage?

John: I’ve always valued partnerships with nimble, capable firms that can move fast and deliver. Digile is one of those rare companies. Their name – Digile – is a great reflection of what they are: digital and agile

In my previous roles at HSBC, HP, and Boeing, I leaned heavily on trusted mid-sized partners to support transformation at scale. Digile reminds me of those high-trust, high-delivery teams. They’re ambitious, capable, and deeply invested in customer success.

Q: Where do you see the biggest opportunities for Digile in the next 24 months?

John: I’d group them into three areas:

  1. Helping clients solve real business and IT challenges – Digile’s work in areas like lead-to-cash automation, workflow transformation, and enterprise platform implementation is very strong.
  2. AI and Data – Every client wants to harness AI meaningfully. Having led AI and data initiatives at HSBC, HP, and Verizon, I see Digile as well-positioned to operationalize AI use cases, especially through its partnerships with ServiceNow, Salesforce, and Oracle.
  3. Platform-Centric Differentiation – The future belongs to companies that can activate value at the intersection of platforms and AI. That’s where Digile sits today – and that’s powerful.

Q: How do you see yourself contributing to Digile’s growth journey?

John: I’ll be focused on:

  • Growth: Helping Digile scale its business across geographies and verticals
  • Customer Value: Ensuring that growth directly translates to impact for clients
  • Future Capabilities: Advising Digile on new frontiers like quantum computing, next-gen agentic systems, and enterprise data orchestration

I’ll also be using my network to help connect Digile with new partners, opportunities, and clients globally.

Q: What does success look like to you in this role?

John: Success is seeing Digile grow significantly over the next few years – but not just in revenue or headcount. Success is when clients say, “Digile helped us solve something important.”

That, to me, is the most rewarding outcome: delivering real value to customers while building a company that’s agile, ambitious, and trusted.

Q: Any final thoughts?

John: I’m genuinely excited. In this phase of my career, I get to choose where I spend my time – and I want to work with people I enjoy, in environments that move fast and matter. Digile ticks all the boxes.

We’re not looking five years out. We’re building now, in real-time – and that’s what makes this partnership so exciting.

As we evolve into a next-generation AI Transformation Partner, John’s guidance will help us stay sharp, move fast, and keep our clients at the centre of everything we do.

We’re honored to have him on board – and we’re just getting started.
