We explored his career-defining decisions, leadership philosophies, and the evolving landscape of digital business. From aligning sales with Digile’s vision to overcoming market challenges and looking ahead to the future of digital innovation, Michael shared valuable reflections that shed light on how strategy, empathy, and adaptability play key roles in shaping growth and impact.

How has your journey evolved at Digile?

My journey at Digile has been both energizing and rewarding. From day one, I was drawn to the company’s agile mindset, global presence, and commitment to innovation. What started as an opportunity to lead sales has evolved into a broader mission—helping our clients solve real-world challenges through digital transformation, and empowering our teams to think strategically and act boldly. I’ve grown not only as a leader, but also as a collaborator and problem-solver alongside some of the best talent in the industry.

What’s one decision in your career that significantly shaped your leadership style?

Early in my career, I made the decision to lead with empathy and accountability—two values that might seem at odds but, when combined, create a culture of trust and high performance. That choice taught me the importance of listening first, empowering others, and setting clear expectations. It’s a leadership philosophy I’ve carried with me ever since.

How do you stay motivated and inspire your team during challenging times?

I remind myself and my team that adversity is often the birthplace of innovation. During challenging times, I focus on staying present, transparent, and solution-oriented. I lead by example, celebrate small wins, and encourage everyone to keep their eyes on the larger mission. It’s about creating momentum, even when the road ahead isn’t clear.

What advice would you give to emerging leaders looking to grow in their careers?

Don’t wait for permission to lead. Take initiative, stay curious, and build authentic relationships. Success isn’t just about delivering results—it’s about how you lift others while you do it. Also, don’t be afraid to fail. The biggest growth often comes from the toughest lessons.

What’s something that Digilians might be surprised to learn about you?

Most people know me for my intensity and focus, but few know I’m also a huge dog lover. My two dogs, Laszlo and Bourbon, are a big part of our family and keep me grounded with their unconditional loyalty and playful energy.

How do you align your sales strategy with Digile’s digital vision?

At Digile, our digital vision is centered around innovation, agility, and delivering measurable value to our clients. I align our sales strategy by ensuring we lead with solutions, not just services. We focus on understanding each client’s unique challenges and map our offerings to their long-term digital goals. We are trained to think consultatively—it's not about making a sale, it's about becoming a strategic partner in their transformation journey. Our go-to-market approach is tightly integrated with Digile’s broader vision of being a forward-thinking, global digital enabler.

What’s been a key challenge in market expansion, and how did you tackle it?

One of the key challenges has been building trust in new markets where our brand recognition was still growing. To tackle this, we focused on showcasing our proven track record through strong case studies, building relationships with influential partners, and recruiting local talent who understand the nuances of the region. We also placed a heavy emphasis on customer success—delivering great outcomes became our best marketing tool. Momentum grew as word spread about the value we bring, and that trust translated into long-term growth.

Looking ahead, what kind of growth or impact do you envision for Digile over the next five years?

Over the next five years, I envision Digile not only expanding its global footprint but also becoming a true innovation partner for enterprises navigating AI, automation, and next-gen digital experiences. We will continue to develop cutting-edge software solutions that address real-world challenges, helping our clients move faster and operate smarter. I see us deepening our vertical expertise, scaling our service delivery with precision, and continuing to foster a culture of excellence and innovation. Most importantly, I believe we’ll have a measurable impact on how businesses operate—making them faster, smarter, and more resilient in a rapidly evolving world.
