Key Accountabilities

·        Developing and/or improving  technological solutions for new or existing organizational products in line  with functional requirements and specifications

·        Providing  functionally correct, unit tested, deployable, and performant software  artefacts

·        Working  collaboratively with Developers, Architects, QAs and Product Owners

·        Ensuring  software meets NFRs, especially for Security, Maintainability, and  Performance

·        Performing  systems analysis & design and creating technical documentation (e.g.  Wikis and Technical specifications) as required during the SDLC

·        Applying  standard programming procedures in line with IB development standards

·        Reviewing/creation  of user stories and acceptance criteria where applicable

·        Assisting  with code quality monitoring, reporting and assurance across IB projects.

·        Performing developer and supplier peer  reviews for quality assurance

·        Attending and participating in Scrum  ceremonies, elaboration and refinement sessions

·        Performing demos for stakeholders  distributed globally

·        Supporting  software releases and deploying code into production environment

·        Handovers, support and training of the  application support team for new deliverables

·        Assuming end-to-end ownership of  technical solutions

·        Supporting, training and mentoring junior  team members.

Experience, Technical and Soft Skills

Knowledge and experience

-       Bachelor’s Degree in  Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent work experience

-        Extensive experience  within Full Stack Development within large scale enterprise solutions

-       Significant exposure  to Agile methodologies and unit testing frameworks like xUnit\nUnit

-       Experienced and able  to assume end-to-end ownership of technical solutions

-        Experienced in systems  analysis and design and creating technical documentation.

-        Skilled  in the use of Azure DevOps for Scrum activities.

-        This post requires experience in Oracle and  ColdFusion technologies:

o   Expertise in front-end  development using Coldfusion, CSS, Jquery and Javascript

o   Highly proficient in database development  on the Oracle platform. Extensive hands-on commercial experience of writing complex PL/SQL  packages, data scripts, DDL statements and perform code optimisation.
