We are seeking a skilled Automation QA Engineer with strong expertise in Java and Playwright to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks ensuring high-quality software delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts using Java & Playwright.
Build and enhance test automation frameworks.
Automate UI, API, and regression test cases.
Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines.
Analyze test results, report defects, and work closely with developers for resolution.
Perform root cause analysis of failures.
Participate in requirement reviews and test planning.
Maintain test documentation and reports.
Support integration, system, and UAT testing activities.
Skills/Other Details
Strong experience in Java programming.
Hands-on experience with Playwright automation framework.
Experience in UI and API automation testing.
Good understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC).
Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, etc.
Knowledge of version control systems (Git).
Strong debugging and analytical skills.
Good to Have
Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber).
Knowledge of REST Assured / Postman for API testing.
